I began hunting with my father when I was seven. At the age of fifteen, after killing fifty-two species of animals on three different continents, I decided that I had ethical problems with sport hunting and quit altogether. After years of being surrounded by a family who hunts and works in the hunting industry I have developed a perspective that both respects aspects of hunting and also condemns some. I continue to explore my intellectual and emotional relationships with my family, my history, and hunting both as an idea and as an action. This collection of artwork is the documentation of my continuing journey.
